So back to Kate Beaton’s fan-submitted list of favorite webcomics. I’ve been looking over the very long list, and found several that I’d like to talk about this week. One of the best things about the web is that one voice, with just a little know-how, has the potential to reach the same audience that a syndicate or major corporation. OK, it’s a double-edged sword, I’ll grant you. But I absolutely love finding an independent creative voice that I never would have otherwise without the web.
Imaginary Anomaly is a relatively new webcomic, it looks like, hosted at WordPress and written by Morgan Shandro. So here I am on a new WordPress blog about webcomics blogging about a new webcomic on WordPress. I have to wonder if that’s poetic, or more of a vicious, perpetual-motion cycle? At any rate, I like the way it looks at some of the everyday random thoughts that fly through our minds. Who hasn’t thought that eyebrows look strange at one point or another?
